There’s a question that has been on my mind lately…Which Side Am I?

I truly believe that we ALL belong to one side: some stay seated in the crowd while watching an entertaining game and others are fighting in the court .. trying to WIN.

And no, I’m not talking about Basketball here.

I’m talking about LIFE itself.

You see, we live in a society that usually makes us think that those who are really successful in something like Business or Sports is because they are MEANT to be.

Like if there is an invisible force that dictates which side are you.

And you something? It’s real..It exists…BUT..It doesn’t works the way you might think.

Let me explain.

Regardless of your Background, Education, Status Quo or even your Last Name we take decisions every single day..ok..shoot…I mean every single SECOND that determine our actions and consequently our outcomes in life.

This powerful FORCE grows inside of each one of us every single second and you know who controls it?

YOU.

You decide…to be broke..or rich.

You decide…to talk…or to listen.

You decide…to stay the same..or to change.

You decide….your OWN life..Your OWN Circumstances.

So..Does it even matter if society tells US what to do?

Well, that’s your call…you have your answer.

Just as I have mine

The Decision to stay seated in the crowd and be one more or to be in the court fighting to WIN…it’s more REAL than anything you can think of.

Anyway..Which side are YOU?

Are You “That” Focused Visitor-san?

What’s the biggest challenge as an Internet Entrepreneur nowadays? Someone I know recently asked me this question..

You know, nowadays the Web can certainly be VERY distracting.

One minute, you can either be checking out the latest tweets of the people you are following on twitter and, the next minute you can be chatting with someone on Facebook about last night’s Football game.

That’s the biggest challenge in my opinion: To stay focused..

Now, let me be clear that I’m not saying that you should not use Facebook or Twitter and have some fun during your busy and productive days…What I mean is that we are facing AMAZING times ahead and only the ones who are FOCUSED with their goals on the short, medium and long term WILL succeed.

After all, that’s WHY we are part of this Elite Breed….We are Internet Entrepreneurs!

My New Best Friend – He Can BE Your Friend TOO

Hey there…Today I’m not gonna talk about any life lesson or anything alike…I just want to introduce you my new best friend. And you know something? He can be your new friend too. His name is … (drums please) … GOOGLE!

According to Wikipedia, Google has been around since 1997 when Larry Page and Sergey Brin developed it. Each day, this very popular and hot Search Engine receives several HUNDRED MILLION queries trough its various sources. Do you know how a SEVERAL HUNDRED MILLION searches look like? I have no idea honestly.

Just to have an idea, lets imagine how ONE HUNDRED MILLION stars will look like.

Pretty INCREDIBLE uh? I Believe that TOO.

So…Why do I say Google is my new best friend? Hmmmm…Well, lets see: since I’m in the Online Marketing/Financial Education Industry, I think GOOGLE will help ME achieve one of my most important goals: TO BE IN FRONT OF THE RIGHT AUDIENCE. You know, I’m pretty sure that a BIG percentage of those several hundred million queries that GOOGLE receives each day are from people looking for a NEW Income Stream from HOME. How can I be so sure you said? Pretty simple: According to many experts, the Home Based Business Industry will grow more than EVER in the Next 10 years!

Who Is a Better Teacher: Failure or Success?

I’ve been reading about success and failure for the last couple of years. It still amazes me how many SUCCESSFUL persons will say that FAILURE is the best teacher when comes to life lessons. A couple of years ago, while I was in college, I used to say to myself many times trough the day: “Failure is not an option”. Was I motivating myself the wrong way?

As I said before, many athletes, entrepeneurs, politicians or musicians claim to have learned more from their errors, their failures than from their success…Donald Trump, successful businessman and real estate developer once said: “Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.” The meaning behind that statement is just .. INCREDIBLE.

Other great example of someone very successful with many failures in his life is .. Michael Jordan:

Maybe, I wasn’t wrong about “Failure is not an option”… IF you’ve learn your lessons trough life. I believe that the element that makes failure such a good teacher is the amount of effort you need to put on your problem to have a 180 degrees turn around…If you are not creating the kind of SUCCESS you want right now, there is a reason for that…At this moment of my life of course I want BIG Success….But I embrace FAILURE as a very valuable teacher….like a voice in my head that says: “you can’t do that…UNLESS…”

I believe that in order to be successful you have to take managed risks. If you know what you are made off you gotta be willing to take full responsibility of your errors and more importantly to LEARN from them. Every single mistake I’ve made lately, has become later on a very VALUABLE lesson for the REST OF MY LIFE.

So the next time that you feel you go down and don’t know what to do remember:

The Incomplete Lesson: A TRUE Story

Back in my days as a kid, someone very influential in my life used to teach me a couple of things about life…That person would always tell me: “You are what you know…nothing else matters in this life….not sports, not friends, no nothing….you are what you know..Go to school, get good grades and you’ll be fine.” About 3 years ago, while reading a book about financial freedom and personal development I came across with a different opinion about that subject that kept me thinking about it for MONTHS…The author would put it more or less like this: “It is not enough to know about something many people don’t even dream to read about….it is about what you DO with that INFORMATION that makes the difference between those who only dream about financial freedom and others who actually DO something about it….”

That idea stayed in my mind for the next couple of months and I think I was terrified about it..Maybe that is why many times in my life I have not been able to take actions towards my financial/personal problems…Life is funny sometimes, the more you think you know, the more you still have to learn. And I’ve realized lately that no matter what happens, no matter what kind of decisions you make, the clock keeps ticking: it never stops.

But…what is an action? Which action is the right one? According to the Cambridge Dictionary an action is defined by: the process of doing something, especially when dealing with a problem or difficulty. I completely agree with that definition, and will also add that when you start in this business, it really doesn’t matter if you screw up or not…Actually, making mistakes is GOOD…A mistake or error teaches us a lot more than success because it makes us think about a solution or choice, that we didn’t consider at the beginning.

I don’t blame the person that taught me what I wrote about at the beggining of this post…but time has taught me that it is an IMCOMPLETE LESSON. While I admit that knowledge is POWER, knowledge itself won’t take you from being completely broke to rich…the actions, the decisions you take with that knowledge inside of you, will do that.
